As a board-certified internist, Dr. Anne Rose Eapen provides comprehensive general medicine care and is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of nearly all the medical issues and problems that arise in the adolescent through geriatric years. Because of the high quality of care her patients have received, Dr. Eapen has received NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) Physician Recognition in heart/stroke prevention and the care of diabetic patients. She has expertise to treat a wide variety of complex acute and chronic medical conditions like:
Additionally, we emphasize the need for routine preventive health assessments based on accepted guidelines to modify "risk factors" and detect medical conditions that can lead to cancer, heart disease and stroke. We provide education and guidance to allow our patients to play an active role in their health maintenance and care.
We are proud to be on the cutting edge of technology with computerized/electronic medical records. This allows us to monitor and improve quality of care, to foster timely access to information for and communications with our patients and other physicians and health care facilities, and to prepare and respond quickly to the ever-changing knowledge and environment of medicine and the medical marketplace.
Our office is actively involved in local medical school teaching programs. Dr. Eapen feels that it is an obligation inherent to the profession of medicine and an important service we must provide for the betterment of the profession. We are extremely grateful to all of our patients who have over the years assisted us in this effort. Without exception, the medical and other students who have spent time in primary care ambulatory clerkships in our office have all had very enriching experiences. It is only through our patients' willingness and enthusiasm to participate in the mentoring of medical students that we have been identified as a "Center for Excellence" in teaching. Thank you!
We look forward to your visit with us and appreciate any comments or suggestions that you may have.
